The shape holds up well, so it’s comfortable to sit on for a while. I also like that it can convert into a chaise lounge, which makes it nice for relaxing or watching TV. For a small space, it works really well and serves the purpose of a couch chair while still being cozy.
It comes rolled up, so it's very easy to bring into a room with a small door opening. Very easy to assembly, simple as opening the roll. Opening the roll of plastic was a challenge but once that's done it takes about 2 to 4 days to firm up.
It's versatile. Very easy to pair it with a large sofa, which I already have.
The foam is very firm and sturdy. It can handle kids jumping on it and sleeping on it. The foam will hold up. Fits many different styles and looks.
The build quality is great. The fabric is good quality as well. The only downside is the Flannel is a bit hard to clean, especially if kids eat popcorn on it.
Overall, it's a great chair. I love it and I recommend it. Good value!
What I like
The seamless conversion from a structured armchair to a flat chaise longue is intuitive and requires zero heavy lifting or mechanical struggle.
Using high-density foam ensures that guests won't feel any uncomfortable metal bars or springs through the padding while sleeping.
The compact footprint makes it a perfect fit for tight corners, dorm rooms, or as a dedicated gaming chair that can be tucked away when not in use.
Its portable design allows you to easily move it between rooms for movie nights or cleaning without needing a second person to help.
What I don't like
Because it is a floor-based sofa, it sits very low to the ground, which may be difficult for some adults to get in and out of comfortably.
The foam can feel quite firm initially and often requires a 24-48 hour expansion period after unboxing to reach its full loft and comfort level.
Now, let me preface this by saying that: I didn't think I was that thick. I tiled my floor and bathroom, knocked a wall down between two bedrooms... with a high beam ceiling, and built a fence in my backyard. Yes, I had help but I didn't need help pulling a chair out of a box. Unfortunately, it was freezing outside, and for a minute there, I couldn't understand why the chair wouldn't expand. IT WAS BELOW ZERO. Freezing cold and memory foam don't like each other, oops.
Yes, we brought the box inside the house, but we are remodeling and it isn't much warmer. I left it in the box overnight to warm up. The following day I pulled the chair out of the box. However, it still wouldn't expand completely! I couldn't figure it out. Again, I'm really not that dense, but memory foam IS DENSE. Do not freeze your memory foam if you can avoid! It's perfectly fine, and won't bother the furniture, but could delay the amount of time it takes to expand by DAYS!
It feels so plush, the material looks expensive and considering I always work and fall asleep sitting up, I can't imagine anything more comfortable (but it needs time and room temperature to fully expand first)! There is nothing better than memory foam which completely adapts to your body. It's on almost every bed in our current house. At first I was going to put it in my bedroom, but it makes my office look modern and comfortable.
We ended up bringing it to the other house which actually has heat. Within a few hours it started expanding properly. It already feels good and looks even better than I thought it would (however, it's still expanding. Be patient and don't sit on it until it's expanded - no matter what anyone else tells you).
Of course, I wanted to know what it looked like in the bedroom. I broke my foot and had been elevating my foot in bed. There were no comfortable chairs in my room for anyone else. Since the chair was here, I decorated it with a multi-colored floral pillow, that looks like a Chinese silk painting. I also have an antique Chinese rug... Now, I'm afraid I'm going to change my mind (my partner's going to lose his mind)! I wish I could have a vote on where I should put this chair. It can be dressed up with my antique desk or put in a game room for extra comfort. It also serves as a guest seat when you break your foot!
I debated on getting boneless furniture, but now I'm certain it's right for me. It's versatile, effortless and easy to arrange (and rearrange, thankfully... just in case we/I want to bring it back). Tomorrow, I hope to throw myself on my chair, update and take a pic. In the meantime, if you're undecided about boneless furniture, don't be. Although comfort is number one, it doesn't hurt that this also looks great. I do wish they sold two seats together which would be an even better value.
